Guys I need help 😭 my base kitchen cabinets have no doors. I need alternative cabinet door ideas. I already know about curtains and the such but whats something else thats an easy diy. Pics of your own diy cabinet doors are much appreciated. If I fabricate my own doors, what material can I use? All the sheets of wood were either too thick or too thin at lowes.
Habitat resale store. I found doors that mostly fit my cabinets. Some are the wrong style/color but paint goes a long way plus they were like 50 cents each? I eventually need to replace our cabinets but having doors makes a huge difference for now.
What do you mean that the wood was either too thick or thin? The doors can be whatever thickness you want, but 3/4 inch would be fine and most wood is available in that thickness. If you plan on painting, I would use poplar for the frames of the doors and 1/4 birch plywood for the panel. Depending on your door sizes, Menards sells unfinished doors as well. I am sure other places do as well.
