Just bought a house with an extremely out dated kitchen, we are planning a massive remodel in the future, but I couldn’t live with it until then so I did a quick super budget update.
Total budget was $20 for white paint and marble contact paper and took about 3 hours, what do you think?
Edit- the brick is a weird plastic veneer that had a ton of stains and a few cracks in the plastic that I had to patch.
How well does contact paper hold up on counters ? We have a “busy” kitchen with four kids and two adults. How do you keep it from peeling due to water spills or hot/cold things being placed on it
That’s quite a difference for $20! I like the white brick better than how it was before. The white really opened it up and looks cleaner. Well done!
I love it! The painted brick gives a subway tile vibe. I would have done everything exactly the way you did it. May I ask how it was working with the contact paper?
Much better! Wow that is a terrible kitchen layout! I always wonder wth people are thinking when they design things 😂
I think we may have similar taste because I like the white brick so much better and I love the countertop with the contact paper. Can’t believe you achieved that with such a low budget! That’s amazing!
This is an amazing job especially for the $20!! Can you tell us what you purchased/provide links?
I have that contact paper too!!! I love it. My counters were pea green. Question….. how do you like that corner sink? I’ve never seen that.
